Stewardship
A spiritual practice, a way to holiness
Stewardship, that time honored, down-to-earth practice embodied in all the great wisdom traditions, can be a way to holiness. To many, it feels burdensome, profane, material but stewardship isn’t about glory and prestige; it’s about giving. As a congregation, COJ exemplifies a culture of service and giving. We understand that we all bear a responsibility to insure COJ’s future. In our short 23 years of life, we can be grateful to God for bringing us together and for the challenge to bring Christ consciousness into our daily lives. A hearty thanks to those who have stood ready to accept their stewardship responsibility. Have you considered making stewardship a part of your spiritual practice, a way to holiness? Please give it serious thought and move to act. Thanks.
